Strong schools are built on strong teaching, and strong teaching is shaped by effective instructional leadership. This practical one-day workshop is designed to equip school leaders with the knowledge, tools, and strategies needed to lead teaching and learning more effectively within their schools.
The workshop focuses on helping Principals, Deputy Principals, Departmental Heads, and aspiring school leaders strengthen classroom practice, improve learner engagement, and support teacher growth through purposeful instructional leadership. Participants will explore what effective teaching looks like in practice and how school leaders can confidently observe classrooms, provide meaningful feedback, and coach teachers toward improved performance.
Through live classroom footage, guided discussions, observation practice, modelling, and hands-on activities, participants will develop practical skills in curriculum management, classroom observation, instructional coaching, learner engagement, and building positive classroom cultures. The workshop is grounded in real school contexts and provides immediately applicable tools and frameworks that leaders can use in their schools.
